Xi’an Day 7

Happy Easter everyone!

We left Xi’An for Shanghai this Sunday morning.  We rode the Maglev, Shanghai’s speed train.  It went up to 350 km/hour, which is not as fast as its usual 450 km/hour during morning rush hour.  We visited the Financial Center of Shanghai,  a 100 floor building with fantastic sights of the city.  We observed the Pearl Tower, the Huangpu River, Pudong, and The Bund.  We ended this long day with an exquisite Chinese dinner where we had the opportunity to eat Xiaolongbao, the soup dumplings Shanghai is famous for.  Our day ended with a acrobatics show, it was by far the best show we have seen in our trip.  We are now enjoying some down time at the hotel, and tomorrow we get the opportunity to sleep in for a change.  Everyone is looking forward to catching up with some sleep.
Stay tuned for more adventures in Shanghai tomorrow.

Over and out,
Mrs. Marsh
