These accomplishments were in addition to our accolades in February 2015 where our Mater Dei decathletes were named  the Southern California Private Schools Academic Decathlon Regional Champion!  This is the first time since 2006 and only the second time in school history.

Our Division I team took first place overall, plus first place in Super Quiz, with 57 individual medals. Jonathan Saba won 2nd (Silver) top student in the entire competition.

Our Division II team placed third overall and 3rd in Super Quiz, with 32 individual medals.

Thank you to our incredible students for all of their hard work and dedication and to their parents for their support along the way.  Also thanks to Assistant Coach Julian Galindo for his support and guidance of these wonderful students!
