Pageantry Corps Fieldshow and Classes

This fall the Mater Dei Pageantry Corps will be competing in the Western Band Association. Their show, entitled “Red Riding Hood,” brings the fairytale to life on the marching band field with a dramatic and thrilling interpretation. The brass and woodwinds sections, drumline, percussion and colorguard combine together with musical, dance and theatrical elements to tell this renowned story. The first performance at competition is this weekend, please come out to support our band program.
The Pageantry Corps is under the Director of Bands: Fernando Martinez, Assistant Director/Percussion Instructor: Kyle Traska and Colorguard Director: Rebecca Greenberg. Additional staff: Drumline: Tim Tintari, Visual Captions Head: Peter Beckhart and Marching Instructor: Tyler James

Oct. 19 @ Ayala High School  – Performance Time   3:32 pm

Oct. 26 @ Laguna Hills High School – Performance Time 5:33 pm

Nov. 2   @ Mission Viejo High School – Performance Time 6:16 pm

Nov. 9   @ Riverside Community College Field Tournament – Performance Time  – 11:31 am

Nov. 16 @ Trabuco Hills High School – Performance Time 3:41pm

Nov. 23 @ WBA Championship in Fresno – Performance Time 10:23 am

Any students with an interest in learning how to play an instrument is invited to take classes at Mater Dei High School on Monday evenings. It is open to students in grades 5 through 8.
