AP Art Students in Barcelona 2013

Friday, March 29: Baecelona Day 2 – Churches, Picasso and Le Metro
Refreshed and ready to see Becelona we walk the city, first to see some of the beautiful cathedrals of Barcelona. The Gothic arches soar above us and the stained glass rose windows entrance us. Then our first trip on the metro, at the recomendation of Osh, our tour guide, we had purchased what we thought was a multi-person multi-use pass. After some trial and error, the Metro assistant informs us we have the wrong pass, we purchase another, and we are off to the Picasso Museum! Picasso’s artwork is inspiring, and we spend over an hour viewing the amazing works, contemplating his genius.
