MUN Students: Graveyards, Nature, and Shopping, Oh My!

On their final day of travel in Ireland, Mater Dei MUN students took an excursion from Dun Laoghaire to Glendalough County where they visited the famous Monastic Site and surrounding graveyard. Thereafter, the students hiked through the surrounding Valley of the Lakes. According to chaperone Jeanette Costa, the most remarkable part of the hike was the “stunning scenery of Glendalough Lake.” As the final leg of their international travel, students spent the evening walking down Grafton Street and doing some last minute shopping.  All are bidding their final goodbyes to the Land of the Green as they frantically pack; readying themselves for the flight home.
