A Whale of a Time From Ireland

Good Friday Greetings from Ireland!

After a full four days of spurring debate while representing the Republics of Croatia and Estonia at the Saint Andrew’s College International MUN Conference, Mater Dei students have shifted to the cultural component of their international travel. Today, Good Friday, students were invited as special guests to Saint Michael’s Parish in Dun Laoghaire, where they attended the Stations of the Cross. Thereafter, students had time at leisure interacting with the local Dubliners as well as sampling the local cuisine and exploring a nearby art exhibit. According to delegate Lizzie Ocampo, her favorite part of the day was “exploring the campus of Trinity College, its historical depth and the architecture of the buildings.” The students enjoyed a day of sun (finally!) while traipsing through various Dublin streets watching street performers and shopping!
