Principal’s Message: Guest Blogger from the Mater Dei Journalism Staff

Meet the Staff

To them, inspiration strikes in the dead of night. To them, words come naturally. To them, the stresses of deadlines and satisfaction of going to print are real. They are the 2012-2013 Scarlet Scroll Journalism Staff. Advised by Mrs. Tanya Katnic, this is one student group on campus that is getting real-world journalistic experience. Responsible for interviewing, writing the copy, and laying out the newspaper via Adobe inDesign, the 12 ladies of the Journalism staff produce Mater Dei’s only monthly student-run publication. Meet the journalists behind the bylines in the 2012-2013 The Scarlet Scroll.
