28th Annual Family Mass & Breakfast Kicks-off Homecoming Week 2012

The 28th Annual Family Mass & Pancake Breakfast will take place on Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Mater Dei. This event is a time-honored tradition for the MD family to come together and celebrate our school and our faith.

Mass begins in Mary’s Grotto at 9:00 a.m. immediately followed by breakfast in the LeVecke Center and Shamrock Plaza. This year Family Mass & Breakfast will also kick-off the 2012 Homecoming Week with celebrant and fellow Monarch, Fr. Brendan Manson ‘89.

All members of the MD family are welcome and encouraged to join us. Grandparents of current Mater Dei students are invited to attend to be recognized for the love and support they continually and generously provide their grandchildren.

The collection taken at Mass will benefit the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange outreach program, Taller San Jose. The Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange will be celebrating their 100th Jubilee this year

Breakfast tickets are $5 (grandparents are FREE) and can be purchased online through September 21, in the MD Advancement Office through Friday, September 28, and will also be sold the day of the event before and after Mass.
